About Me

My name is Misty Jeffers and I specialize in mobile massage therapy.  I bring quality massage therapy to the comfort of your own home.   

A lil bit about me: I was born in Alabama, but I got out.  I was raised in Cobb County, GA, obtained a bachelor’s degree at Kennesaw State University (Go Owls!), and eventually relocated to Temple in 2003.  My hobbies include hiking, camping, and pretending I can garden.  I still live in Temple with my wonderful husband, son, dogs, and a few crazy goats. 

My career of choice for the better part of 20 years was stay-at-home mom to some pretty amazing kids, but when you have amazing kids, retirement comes earlier in the stay-at-home mom profession than it does in many other professions.  A country girl at heart, I’ve always been more likely to have dirt on my nails than polish.  Frou-frou I am not and I honestly always thought massage therapy was rather frou-frou.  Then I had a not so fun car wreck.  My chiropractor recommended massage therapy for the soft tissue damage I’d suffered, and while I recognize that massage therapy is a great way to pamper yourself, I also began to realize how important and effective it can be for maximizing your overall health and well-being.  So I went back to school.
